Course Objectives: This course will focus on each of these topics from the employee’s perspective. The course will also explain the employer’s responsibilities. By the end of this course, you should be able to: - Explain the purpose of OSHA - Explain your rights as an employee under the OSH Act - Describe what a hazard is - Evaluate fall hazards - Define ergonomics - Explain what Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) are - Describe basic electrical safety - Describe the hierarchy of hazard controls - Explain the purpose of personal protective equipment (PPE) - Describe an emergency action plan (EAP)
